Finally got the three of us back together again for a hike yesterday. Third time's a charm for Devil's Throne after being thwarted by ice and (potential) fire. It's a super fun walk and as I said in the blog post, you feel a lot more remote than on other walks on the mountain. There's something for everyone on Kunanyi/Mount Wellington and this one's definitely for the adventurous. 1880s kids had waaaay better tractors than us. FACT. Had an absolute blast at the Heritage Farming Expo down the road today. Bring back Steam Tractors I say, although maybe don't let them on the roads, they're a tad slow for today's world.
